Tank Water Heaters

Life Span: 10-15 Years

The simplicity of the "storage" tank water heater makes for lower cost repairs when they stop functioning properly.

  • Tank water heaters are always on to keep stored water at the preset temperature.
  • Repairing a tank-based unit is much easier than repairing a tankless system.
  • It can take 1-2 hours to fully recharge the system.

Tankless Water Heaters

Life Span: 20-30 Years

Tankless water heaters are small and can be installed in tight spaces. They may even be installed on the outside walls of your home if your home is spatially challenged.
